MORNING OF BLAH...

About 40 minutes ago (10 AM), the fire alarm, ever so softly, goes off in Joe West. Little did the few of us who actually evacuated the building know that they were just testing the system. I was half awake when it went off. I heard the damn siren, but not the stupid voice prompt. The center door automatically shutting was the sound that confirmed the alarm for me. So there's that.

Now my take on something that wastes tax payers' money... I was already made aware earlier this month that Caltrans was going to conform to the rest of the country and number each exit. Why is this necessary? Americans are that damn stupid that they can't read words, just numbers? Seriously, the money could of been spent on improving the physical state of the state's roadways. WTF? What motivated me to write this is because I read just now that they're going to have an unveiling of the first numbered exit sign in Morgan Hill today.

The things that make you talk...

So I'm laying on my

So I'm laying on my bed trying to avoid the soap opera that's occuring in my room. I don't have an exact clue on what it's about, but I have a generalization on what's it about. It's so high school in here right now. And you thought the drama I had last year was bad...

Along with that...I'm now officially 21. Although technically, I was born @ 8:45AM PST. Didn't do anything tonight, but will definitely do something tomorrow night.

I am so in the ghetto right now.... AAAAAHHHHH!!!! I have to get some reading in tomorrow morning before class.

So yesterday was my 21st

So yesterday was my 21st birthday... To make a long story short, my friends took me to 3 bars downtown, paid for all my drinks, even had 2 bartenders give me free drinks! It will be one I would never forget!

Now going back in time... I was going through my bookmarks and encountered a website that lists Nor Cal filming locations for movies. Going through the cities, I remembered some big thing that was part of my orientation @ SJSU almost 3 years ago. I remembered that one of the orientation leaders was one of the basketball player in Flubber. Also, some scenes were shot on campus, including WSQ. I had totally forgot about that! They played the movie while we waited to register for classes and they referenced the movie the entire day. Oh the memories!

First off, if you were

First off, if you were trying to access the blog archives, you may have noticed that several weeks were missing. I've refreshed the archives directory from Blogger and it should be fine now.

Nothing new tonight... Went to the Flying Pig tonight. Realizing that there aren't that many bars in downtown SJ. I might as well be in Concord or WC! Speaking of which, I'll be hanging out with some friends up there on Saturday. As long as we don't stop by freaking La Scala, it's all good!

So Randall, Nancy, and I

So Randall, Nancy, and I hit the bar scene in Downtown Walnut Creek on Satuday. We first went to Dan's where it wasn't too interesting. There was a cover band playing there and their first song was Sugar Ray's "Every Morning". Yeah... my first choice for an opener! Then we went over to Crogan's, where apparently everyone who graduated from De La Salle and Carondelet hang out. Besides that weird point, it was a very cool bar. I really liked it there. For a Saturday it was not too crowded.

Now alas, tomorrow is Mardi Gras. We're most likely going to Post Street downtown for the Post Street celebration. Last year, so many people attended that they stopped admitting people after 10PM.

And the day after is Ash Wednesday, where I must be a good boy and attend services. Luckily, SCU has services @ 10 PM.
