So I was doing some late night P2P downloading and I downloaded an asf file of which I thought was a wmp file of a hard to find sound clip. Well, it ended up to be a freaking worm, and it infected my precious system with Code Red and Nimda! As soon as I opened the file, I had a nice video of a guy getting a blow job by some ugly chick and several pop ups and even full-screen, kiosk mode IE windows opened. I had to select Work Offline to make them stop. So I'm scanning my system right now and so far, there isn't more than those two, thankfully!
After finding out that my so-called underaged French crush, Alizée was on the World Music Awards, I PVRed the rebroadcast on ABC Family. Gotta love that PVR! :) For those who don't know what that stands for, it's Personal Video Recorder. I don't have Tivo, that's why I don't say "I Tivoed..." On a techical side, I have Dish Network at home, where they are the only ones in the industry who doesn't charge at all for PVR features! Anyways....back to Moi Lolita. She was so cute when they showed that one minute clip of her singing and winning Most Albums in France. I have to back up that clip to VHS, along with the massive amount of movies and clips that are still stuck on the PVR.
Well right now, I'm downloading a bunch of Alizée songs off Audio Galaxy. I can't do much MP3 downloading, because of the new "server-ip" settings SJSU placed on the firewall. Basically only registered IP addresses can use the ports designated as server use. I'm not entirelly SOL, as some connections go through, but there's a lot of latency with the connections.
Actually, it more than that. I have to finish off a project and finish an 8-10 page paper for my two classes tomorrow, respecitvely. There are a few things that happened over the weekend, but I will blog it after I get back from Stephanie's 21st Birthday Extravaganza Part II.

So yeah, first off... did some random internet surfing on her again. Her official website now has an english translation =) I realized that when I saw that music video while I was in France, it was only about a week or so after it debuted in the country! Talk about catching on an international fad early on. OK, enough about that.
Last night was Steph's 21st birthday. A bunch of us went to TGI Friday's for dinner, then Greg, Brian, and I took her to Katie Bloom's for her first bar experience. After that, we caught up with the rest at Pizza-a-Go-Go and headed off to an abnormal 80s night.
Now to resolve my last post's tease, let's do the backtrack/reverse chronological thing again... Yesterday, I presented my group project and finished my paper for my two classes. Sunday night/early Monday morn, I went to SJ Medical's ER as I apparently had an abscess on my throat. They gave me an antibiotic shot on one ass cheek and a steroid shot on the other. Yeah, I know you all wanted to know the details!
Sunday, day, was the Filipino celebration of 40 days after a death. So of course, we had one for my dad. I didn't know that my mom invited Miss K, so it was a total surprise to see her there. Randall and I did some catching up with her. She's way better than she was while working at DLS.

Apparently my last post never went through. I am just realizing this now, after coming back from a night in SF. The only thing good about being at home is that I don't have to trek for an hour to get to the city. It just takes less than a half hour on I-80 =)

Secondly, I spent most of the day in freaking Downtown Walnut Creek! My day started by waking up @ 9, going to church, then dropping my sister off at the Regional Arts Center for her concert. We have lunch at Deerberry (cousin's house in The Crossings) then see a boring ass CHS/DLS Choral Concert. Worst case is, Randall and I sat in the front row.
