First off, my grandma died a few weeks ago. That's one of the reasons as to why there's a gap between blogs.
Second, work's been keeping me utterly busy! Delt with Pleasant Hill PD numerous times in regards to several vandalizims at work and a counterfeit traveler's check. For the most part, experiences with them have been somewhat unpleasant. Let's just say some officers need to polish up on both common sense law and people skills.
Tomorrow, I'm going to quasi-move-into my new apartment in Sunnyvale. Since I'm still working in PH till the 15th, I figured I wouldn't do the mass move-in till after that.
And for one more day, you can hear my second attempt to hear me annonce showtimes at 925-687-1100. Star Wars Ep. 2 will be in the dome till next Thursday!
Yesterday was my last actual day working at the dome. I trained Scott on opening money and did my usual thing, acting like it wasn't my last day. Depending on how things go this semester down in SJ/Sunnyvale, I may work at the dome again during winter break... I hope I could :)
Between now and Thursday night, you can hear me do the theatre recording one last time at 925-687-1100. When I get the file uploaded, you can hear it here. (Not that I'm egocentric or anything...)
Encountered a few interesting sites recently. The first one is www.engrish.com. My co-worker Scott introduced me to this site where people post photos of various Japanese things in "engrish". You'll get a kick out of it!
The other site I randomly came across after searching Saved by the Bell and "I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so... scared!" (Rerun show rocks!). It's www.yesterdayland.com. It's a retrospect/nostalgic portal for old TV shows sorted by decade. There's even a message board and visitors' memories of each show.
Hung out with Chris on Friday night. Apparently we were the only two who were "home". After cruising Concord/WC/PH trying to figure out a place to eat, we finally decided on Fuddruckers in WC. Oh yeah, Chris turned 21 on Sunday... Happy Bday! As usual, he pointed out that I haven't blogged in a while.
Finally moving in to my apartment tomorrow. Plus Dish Network's coming in on Friday to install the dish and PVR :) Oh yeah I'm set!
