END OF THANKSGIVING WEEKEND THOUGHTS

Start MP3: Tears for Fears - Shout < - I obviously haven't been doing that lately

First off, I added an "About RAPP81" page on the website. It chronicles the trials and tribulations of what is now RAPP81.COM and how RAPP81 came about. In other words, it shows how true of a geek I am =)

Last night, I stopped by the dome to talk to Rosemary about working there during winter break. As I approached the theatre, I see her and Mike Wegner talking, so I had to wait a bit. As usual, I was filled in on the juvenile things that were happening there. Oh working for Century once more.... I tell ya, even with the holiday season, it's still hard to find a decent paying p/t job. Now I just realized that I forgot to ask Rosemary if I can get $10/hr instead of the $9.25 starting wage. I'll send an email :) (just did)

I didn't write much about what happened on Thanksgiving Day. Nothing too eventful. Went to my Aunt & Grandpa's house in Rodeo, had a family gathering there. Just like any weekly get-together, just a turkey and tons of dissert, so essentially it was as I said, uneventful. The only eventful thing about my time there was getting a call on my cell from Chris Hale, asking me where in Hercules I lived (since he is from there too) because Amber wanted to know.

And now... it's the home stretch! I have about two weeks till finals start and I just realized that we're now into December. WTF?!?

End MP3: Saliva - Always

I'M GOING TO SEE THE

I'M GOING TO SEE THE SCREEN SAVERS LIVE, BABY!

Originally, I was asking for tickets anytime during the first few weeks in January, however I guess they were in dire need of audience members this week. All I have to say is thank God for Caller ID. I accidentally left my cell on silent and noticed that I missed a call. So I call back and it was TechTV! One of the things the lady asked me on the phone was if I was local. I, of course, said yes. Then she asked if I could come in tomorrow (as in 12/3). I was like... I originally signed up for any date in January. Then she asked if I could come in at all this week. So I said Friday. And there you have it! I'm going to see Pat, Leo, Megan, and the rest of the crew live on Friday! Now Jason, make sure you work diligently on that project so you can be finished and be ready to go on Friday :) As for watching the show, since it is showing on Friday, TechTV won't be airing any replays that night. So set your VCRs/PVRs/TIVOs to TechTV, Channel 191 on Dish Network, 294 on Bay Area AT&T Broadband, 354 on DirecTV, or Statcom C4 - Transponder 12 (yeah, C-band satellite was overkill) at 4PM PST!

DE LA SALLE HIGH SCHOOL'S FOUNDER DIES

I was going to blog this earlier today when I read it on bayarea.com / Contra Costa Times, but I had issues posting from the computers in the Business Computer Lab. http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/living/education/4662838.htm

AND ON DLS RELATED MATTERS...

I'm constantly getting hits to my website from people who are doing searches for R i c o  B a l a t t i. (Had to space it out so people can't find this post in their search). I had a computer from an Air Force base in Virginia look him up through Google today.

In case you're wondering why his name is on my website, I have the school response letter about his apprehension and how no DLS student was involved posted in my Documents page. I wish I still had the email I sent out to all the alums when I found out! When I was looking up the article from then hotcoco.com to send off via email, the librarian went up and scolded me, telling me that I should wait until the class meeting. Whatever..... Ok, enough retrospect.

NOW I'M REALIZING THAT THERE'S WAY TOO MUCH GEEK AND DLS STUFF IN MY PAST FEW BLOG ENTRIES

Chris, I'm expecting a comment from you :)

If you are a new visitor to my blog, I'm practically begging you to check out the archives! There's way better stuff there, trust me.
