So I'm watching American Dreams right now... The oldest son, who is a senior in high school, is with a friend at a bar, shooting pool and drinking beers. There's something so weird about this setting!

Well, I don't think I'll have the birthday fest like the one I had last year. We're going to the Cheesecake Factory later tonight.

Last night was so fun! Although it was pretty low-key compared to what happened on my birthday last year, this year was great. I didn't get a lot of pictures, but the ones I took will be uploaded shortly. When they are, look for a link on the right-side navigation on this page.
We all shared 3 appetizers and each of us had our own dessert. I've had store bought Cheesecake Factory before, but the plain kind. This time... my God! Just the slightest bite was amazing. The place was packed as well, for a Wednesday at 9:15p. I'm just wishing they had one up in the East Bay. Btw, I'm going there again Saturday as Anthony (SJSU "Shut up") is getting a group together for his birthday which was the day before mine. (Happy Birthday again, Anthony!)
After the Cheesecake Factory, I drove Rachel back to her apartment and we talked for a bit. It's been almost 2 months since I've seen her, so we were catching up on what's been going on.
So that's pretty much what happened on my birthday. I'm sorry if you were looking for something you could poke fun at me, like getting utterly sick in front of Jack in the Box to all the way back to Joe West! :-)
I needed to upgrade my version of Gallery, but that posed some problems in terms of uploading photos. Apparently the verson of NetPBM on my server was having issues with Gallery, so I had to upload my own version to my webspace and have it execute from there.
Now the limited photos I took from my birthday are finally online.
