That's right... my desktop's back up and running (and accessible from my home computer in Hercules!)
Here are some random things I wanted to post while I had no computer readily available:
THOSE DLS CAR DECALS!
I was going to make reference to this last weekend during that long post, but I figured that particular post was getting way too long. Let me pose this question to you: How many times while driving along 680, between the Dublin Interchange and the Benicia Bridge have you encountered a car with a DLS sticker (or even CHS) on the back? I saw quite a few during my drive up last weekend and instantly became aware that I was now a part of this elite group, as I now have a few DLS stickers on my back windshield ("De La Salle", "Spartans", Spartan Head) that complement my SJSU decal. I figured since I currently go to a school that's majorly lacking in school pride, this display will show how much school pride I can exert... or how much of a dork I am. :)
APPLIED FOR A JOB
I applied for a job for Quiksilver's new store at Valley Fair. Apparently they were short handed, so they weren't giving thurough interviews, but I was given the generic speech that I will be notified in 2 weeks. I hope I do... I really need some extra income!
CONCORD'S NEW YOUTH HANGOUT
I passed by Concord's newly opened skatepark on the corner of Cowell and Galindo. Wow, that place has a ton of kids! Just think, Hercules actually beat Concord in opening a skatepark. Our's is about 2 years old :)
SHORT APPERANCE AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY
Thursday was Chris Hale's birthday and everyone was celebrating his and a friend's roomate's birthday at the Esplanade. Greg, Steph, Christina, Sarah, and I went but only stayed for a while. Remember that RA from Joe West, who we all hated with a passion last year? Well, he just opened the carport door, enters, and finds one of the residents to tell them to turn the music down. Yeah, it was like we were back in the dorms.
"10 Tips on Writing the Living Web"
Leo Laporte had posted this in his blog today. It's a pretty interesting article and so very much true in regards to this.
Also here are some tips as to how to "Write a Better Weblog"
I'm pretty sure I'm up to par, but if I'm not, please let me know :)
Despite the cancellation of the Post Street Mardi Gras Celebration, SJPD will be adopting a zero-tolerance policy throughout Downtown San Jose tomorrow night. According to SJPD's spokesperson Steve Dixon, many downtown bars and clubs will be holding special events during the night, which will lure in a lot of people downtown.
For the past 2 years, I've been a spectator during all of the chaos that would occur during Mardi Gras. Last year's near riot was just that. I couldn't believe the amount of damage that was done throughout downtown. It was upsetting to see the news reports the next morning, especially the report of a statue outside of the cathedral and severely battered... and I don't mean battered like the way Carondelet's Virgin Mary Statue would always have her hands chopped off. (Ah, how we would pass by the statue, especially when we had band in the CHS music room).
This year, I plan on starting the night by having dinner with some friends, then heading over to Cinequest seeing the student shorts. After that... probably hit downtown. Oh, I better park somewhere along campus, far enough from the downtown mayhem.
I'm watching the Meet My Folks Episode I was talking about earlier. It's funny to watch this kind of show when someone you somewhat know is on it!

I was laughing my ass off when I heard MILF on the news, but it's not a laughing matter in regards to what the report was about.
