I've been utterly busy this past week and it was pointed out by Joe that I've haven't been keeping him updated on a daily basis. In fact, he drove up to SJ from LA to tell me in person! Well, that wasn't his primary purpose for coming up :)
Let's start with Tuesday when Roshnee and I went to see Moulder's Lounge at Santa Clara University. SCU was holding a Battle of the Bands, in which ML won first place! They totally kicked ass with their new drummer, who only had a few hours of practice and was way better than the old one! After SCU, I dropped Roshnee off and I went straight up to Hercules to await for a repair guy.
Early Wednesday morning, I arrive at my house and head straight for the computer. After a few minutes checking email and stuff, I turn the computer off and crash on the couch. I can't hear the doorbell ring from my room and plus my room was chaotic. The repair guy comes in at around 10:30 or so and afterwards, I hung around the house, turned up the stereo, and just chilled. At around 5, I left for a meeting at SCU then off to pick up Rosh to watch The Matrix on an outdoor screen @ Santana Row, which Chris was in charge of the projector. All of us, including Amber, had the best spot on the lawn. For Amber and Rosh, they were seeing it for the first time. Rosh really loved the movie and we're both dying to see Matrix Reloaded later on this week. ($2 / EBF Century passes!). After the movie, I took Rosh back to her apartment and we ended up seeing PCU. Too tired to head back to my place, I crash at her place.
On Thursday, I had a job interview at CompUSA. I originally applied for a cashier job, but apparently with my candidness and job experience, they wanted me in a sales position. They wanted me to have the second interview done that day, but it got rescheduled to Friday. If I get this job, my primary things to push are extended warranty plans and AOL signups! Ugh, AOL! I'll achieve that one way or another. Later on that night, the girls had a BBQ / party at their house, since Marlene wasn't there with her random ghetto friends. I brought some buffalo wings and taquitos that we placed on the grill for appetizers. I also brought my talking Alf, to scare Rosh with... You can see that here. The party was pretty awesome :) I ended up staying the night at the house.
I left the girls' house Friday morning to get ready for my second interview and my trip back up to Hercules. When I show up for my second interview, the guy I was supposed to have an interview with didn't know I was showing up, so it was rescheduled for Saturday. Oh well! So I trekked up to Hercules after that and met up with some friends in Walnut Creek later on that night.
Saturday started off with me heading back down to the South Bay. I went back to Comp only to have to not have that interview conducted again! The guy told me he'll call me and conduct it over the phone and apologized again for taking my time. After that, I called Rosh to check to see if we were still on for watching Matrix Reloaded. She told me that Joe was coming up. We ended up watching some RTVF shorts at the guys' house then trekking over to the Caravan. Having not eaten since 8PM the previous night, the slightest amount of alcohol was not a smart thing to ingest. At the end of the night, I ended up pigging out at La Victoria. For some reason, we parted, so I ended up with Greg, Steph, Justin, Yoni, Todd, the other Steph, and Yoni's friend Chris to eat at the tables on campus. After that, I went with Greg, Steph, and Justin back to Steph's house where we all slept in Steph's room.
We all got up late Sunday morning and went back to Justin and Greg's house. However, there was a minor problem in getting there. My car was back at the other guys' house and Greg and Justin had their motorcycles, with just 3 helmets. So Steph volunteered to head over with Greg and drive my car back to her house. Thanks, Steph! At the other house, Justin made Monte Cristos for us... Damn they were good. Thanks, Justin! After brunch, we decided to see The Italian Job at the AMC. That was a kick ass movie! Of course for me, not because of the actual movie, but because of the Napster references! I was jumping out of my seat when I saw Shawn Fanning do a cameo! That guy is fucking awesome :) After the movie, we head back to Justin and Greg's and I become friendly to their dog, Brodie. What a dumb dog... heh.
So tonight would be the first night I've slept overnight at my apartment since Monday! Woah!
Oh yeah, also tonight, I hooked Chris Hale up with his own blog. Check it out here.
Whew! That was a long post! I should of put a disclaimer, telling everyone to brace yourselves... Oh well!
