So I'm sitting outside, next to the band room, waiting for my mom to come out from a band meeting so I could borrow her Costco/Amex card so I can get gas. I left mine at home and since I'm passing though, I might as well stop by and wait for her.
Prior to coming over to DLS, I stopped by Best Buy in Pleasant Hill to buy (and DON'T laugh when you read this...) Saved by the Bell Seasons 1 and 2. I just had to get the DVD box set.
Today was my first day truely commuting to school. The drive down wasn't too bad, but the drive up could of been better. Since parking on South Campus is still free this week, I parked there and took the shuttle over to main campus. I was surprised that I was able to find a spot as soon as I got into the lot... That would never be the case if I tried to park in any of the garages on main campus.
The first thing I did when I went on campus was to mail off a few letters. Then I trekked over to the MIS department to drop off my final project for the third time. As I was discussing what I was dropping off to the secretary, the department chair overheard me and asked to speak to me. I told him what had happened and he wanted to make sure that my project was given to the prof this time.
Class was alright... We discussed ERMs (Bus 93 recap zzzzzz) and the fundamentals of Access. Oh the joy!
Let's now backtrack to what happened for the rest of the weekend. Sunday night, I went with Anthony, Andrew, and Anthony's friend Adam to see Pirates at WC. This was the first time I've ever been to the new theatre. All I have to say is everyone is right... the building is awful. Those stairs?!? WTF's up with that? Anyways, during the first 45 minutes of the movie, I decided to log on to AIM on my phone because I was getting really bored with the movie. Nate IMs me the second I can see my buddy list saying, "I see you're bored!" He guessed right!
A few minutes later, I decided to make a trip to the bathroom. However I didn't make it to the bathroom. No, not in that sense, you sickos! I saw Rosemary closing down snack bar. It was well past midnight and was concerned that she was still there. So I went up to her and jokingly asked, "shouldn't you be home already?" We ended up talking for a long time, catching up on things, listening on how she should quit (yes, she should), and such. We talked so long, that I missed the rest of the movie!
Geezzzz..... Why is there no wifi near this campus? Too bad I can't find an accessable ethernet jack out here :(
I'm going to end this post and imagine Brian being here, trying to hit on the CHS girls who are having water polo practice right now... Wait a minute, are they CHS players or middle school players?!? heh
This afternoon, the first debate for the recall election will occur at the Regional Arts Center in WC... (Ah, The Creek :) ) Now why is the actor NOT showing up to this event? Maybe he's afraid to lose brownie points with the heavily conservative community. Many in the media and his opponents have criticized the fact that Arnold is only participating in debates where the questions are revealed prior to the debate. Poor Arnold, the actor, cannot perform w/o his script. That's all there is to it!
