Dull Weekend

Well, this weekend was, um... yeah. I'm just glad it was over with.

Yesterday, I bumped into Steph and Christina on the way to class. It was great seeing them and they said I should stop by because the miss me. Awe :) Before I headed to campus, I had to wake up at 6:35 to take my sister and her friend to school. I was only notified the night before about this. I only had like 4 hours of sleep because I got home late. After I dropped them off, I slept some more. Thankfully, Todd hooked me up with a pass to park at the Event Center loading dock, so I could leave right after my class and not have to stay till 10PM. Thanks again, Todd :)

Mirba, SJS 95 / CHS 99 randomly IMed me today. We caught up for a few minutes.

Tomorrow after work, I'm heading down to Santa Cruz to see Trapt at a club. hopefully Greg comes to his senses and blows off his anal group! :)

Sorry if this post seems a little jaded. A lot's on my mind right now

Weekend Wrap-up

I was going to write a blog entry last night, but for some reason, I fell asleep with my keyboard on my lap at around 10:30. Sometime at midnight, Casey called me at KoC. I totally forgot he called me. I relied on my call log to trigger my memory.

Let's start with Thursday. I went to work and noticed that there was a lot of activity in the building. While I was doing my morning routine, Tom walks in and says that I should shut all the doors because 2 VPOs and some higher ups from the main office were in the building. What was going on?!? I was soon filled in about how the county health inspector was threatening to shut us down and everyone was working through the night to get everything done before the insepction. The time to open passed and we were not really ready to open for business. We ended up opening 20 minutes late and only had the dome side snack bar open. The inspector came and said we barly passed. Whatever... The rest of the day went a little better.

After work, I went down to SJ to pick up Greg. On the way down, there were a couple of accidents on 680, in Alamo and Danville, which delayed my trip down a bit. After picking up Greg, we trekked down to Santa Cruz. The drive down wasn't too bad... We got there in about 45 minutes. Parking was not a problem, but little did I know that the meters were enforced until 8PM. After parking, we fell in line to get in. Greg later went and asked about tickets. Less than a minute later, he walks back with a huge smile on his face. The show was sold out. Figuring that since the show actually started at 8:30, the opening acts would take at least an hour, so Greg and I had some time to kill. We walked a bit downtown checking to see if there were any busses that would head over the hill to SJ. There weren't any. Later on during our walk, I noticed people putting coins in the meters. This is when I realize that I needed to pay the meter. We walk back to my car and attempt to put coins in. I didn't have any but pennies, but luckily, Greg had a nickle. That gave us some time. I needed 50 cents more. We decided to head over to Subway where I can buy myself dinner. The sever was amazed that I knew what I wanted right away and asked if I've been to that Subway before. I told him not that specific location, but been to many up in the Bay where I'm from. I couldn't figure out why he had this fascination that I'm really familiar with Subway...
