Tahoe so far / Planning for my next trip

Gambled a bit, payed a visit to a buffet, ventured over to Reno with Geno last night, enjoying the eye candy from the pool. Heh.

I booked a flight to Seattle for Labor Day weekend. Now my thing is, where the hell am I going to crash. I could crash at Allison's place, but I really want to hit the Seattle scene, if you know what I mean, and unfortunately, Allison's 19. Also, she goes to UPS, which a ways away in Tacoma. If my cousin, who works for the DLS development office, ends up going, maybe I could crash with her. Or I may get a hotel room downtown for just Saturday... If anyone has any ideas whatsoever, I would love to hear them :) Just a recap, the motivation to go to Seattle came from the fact that my high school, De La Salle, is playing a HS from WA at Seahawk Stadium that Saturday.

Here's my flight info:

Thursday, September 02, 2004 Alaska Airlines Flight 485 Depart: San Jose, CA (SJC) at 9:42 PM Arrive: Seattle, WA (SEA) at 11:33 PM

Monday, September 06, 2004
Alaska Airlines Flight 594
Depart: Seattle, WA (SEA) at 8:30 PM
Arrive: San Jose, CA (SJC) at 10:36 PM

Making the flight reservations was kinda cool. I got to point and click where I wanted to sit. How nifty!

Alright, I think I'm gonna nap, then hit the hot tub later on....

Just when I thought my fall class schedule was set...

I got a call from the MIS department this morning, informing me that my 119A section has been cancelled due to low enrollment. But the rest of the sections which are all weekly classes, are still open. Argh... That means that I'll have a huge gap on Mondays, closing out the day with a weekly class and I'll only have one class on Wednesdays @ 10AM

Old Class Schedule (with BUS4 119A, Sec 1 which is now cancelled.... replace with Sec 2, M 3:00P - 5:45P)

Week in Review

I'm just going through the week, detailing things that have not been previously been said.

Sunday
Nothing too exciting, hit the hot tub for a bit. Had dinner at an expensive seafood buffet at Harvey's. Afterwards, tried to find a non-existent Blockbuster in this new shopping center near Stateline. There were signs at the shopping center entrances, but no store... It was probably one of the lofts under construction. Used mMode to find another store and looked up directions. It was about 4 miles away off Lake Tahoe Blvd. Well, I missed the turn and ended up leaving South Tahoe, past the high school. Oops. We eventually found the damn place and rented The Perfect Score and Hell Boy
